In the today's trial on "The world and everything in it is unplanned accident, existence is meaningless; the past is irrelevant; nothing matters.", I believe position 2 has won the trial since they were able to prove this statement was wrong and life is meaningful. During the trial, position 2 lawyers came up with decent examples even though it is relatively hard to be a opposition side of a trial. For example, position two mentioned one of the quotes from dragon said, “to seek out gold and sit on it”. They explained that the dragon is confused and wasn't stable about his belief therefore he is not trustworthy. Moreover, On the other hand, position 1, including me, lawyers were struggled with little detailed evidence from the book since we were lacking evidence. Also, witnesses, Grendel and Dragon were not able to answer clearly and seemed like they didn't fully understand the characters. Thus, position 2 won the trial.
